We are Text ANalysis and GENeration Technology Group (TANGENT) from Peking University. Our major research interests reside in Natural Language Processing. We are broadly interested in several research topics including Large Language Models based Agents, Text generation, Information extraction, Discourse parsing.

Sujian Li

I am an Associate Professor (with tenure) in Institute of Computational Linguistics, School of Computer Science, Peking University, and work with a bunch of great students in my lab TANGENT. My research focuses on text generation, automatic summarization, discourse parsing, information extraction, etc.

I have published more than 100 papers in related journals or conferences, including some high-level international conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, KDD, AAAI, IJCAI etc. The awards I received include CCL2020 best paper award, ACL2017 outstanding paper award. I have participated in the construction of comprehensive knowledge base resources, which won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011. I presided over and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation, the National Key R&D Program, the National 863 Project and the 973 Project.
